At Cona Consultores, we are searching for a Controller for an important multinational company based in Zona Norte, Buenos Aires.

Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis:

• Prepare the annual budget and participate in business plan drafting


• Develop monthly P&L, cash flow forecasts, and capital expenditure budgets


• Monitor product line profitability and provide analysis for executive decision-making


• Identify cost reduction opportunities and profit improvement strategies

Cost Accounting & Management:

• Verify job costing and ensure accurate cost center allocations


• Analyze variances between standard and actual costs, preparing what-if scenarios


• Maintain and update pricing information in the price list

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

• Ensure timely and accurate monthly financial reporting


• Analyze and control P&L and balance sheet accounts


• Prepare monthly financial reports for local management, providing variance explanations

Collaboration & Process Improvement:

• Support Finance Manager in implementing corporate policies and procedures


• Collaborate with the Corporate Controlling Department and cross-functional teams to enhance financial processes and controls

Skills & Competencies:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration (Master's/MBA preferred)


• Fluent in English for corporate reporting


• 5-7 years of experience in controlling, financial analysis, or management accounting (3+ years in a Controller or Senior Financial Analyst role)


• Experience in manufacturing/industrial environments with cost accounting knowledge


• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting


• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)


• Strong understanding of IFRS/GAAP and cost accounting methodologies


• Experience with Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus


• Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with excellent attention to detail
