At Cona Consultores, we are currently seeking a Senior Foreign Trade Administrative Analyst to join a leading company in the plastics industry, with more than 30 years of experience in the market.
This position is aimed at professionals with solid experience in the comprehensive management of foreign trade operations, a high level of autonomy, and excellent communication skills, capable of providing support to the area and accompanying strategic business processes.
The selected candidate will report directly to Management, actively participating in the coordination and follow-up of international trade operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Comprehensive management of import and export operations.
- Preparation, control, and follow-up of foreign trade documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, BL / AWB, certificates of origin, insurance policies, among others.
- Ongoing coordination and communication with customs brokers, freight forwarders, cargo agents, and overseas suppliers.
- Monitoring of shipments, deadline control, and verification of compliance with current regulations.
- Interaction with official agencies and banking institutions related to foreign trade operations.
- Active participation in internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentary traceability and operational backup.
- Preparation of management reports and data analysis to support decision-making.
- Providing general administrative support to the Foreign Trade department.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in similar positions within the Foreign Trade area.
- Bilingual proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Strong knowledge of foreign trade documentation management and control.
- Previous experience in audits, focused on document control and regulatory compliance.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, and reporting).
- Proactive, well-organized profile with a high level of autonomy in task management.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Availability for occasional international travel.
- Valid passport.
